Sunflower Farms, new home to Amanda Johnson Dressage!

As of March 1st, Amanda Johnson Dressage is now based out of Sunflower Farms in Barn F! Barn F is a beautiful 24 (12×14) stall barn, equipped with a riders lounge, tack room with individual lockers, trunk room, grooming bays, wash stall and a prudent air filtration system. I am very excited to have this topnotch barn and Sunflower Farms to work out of. Thank you to Sunflower Farms for letting me run this barn as I see fit and also a thank you to Silverwood Farm for taking care of my horses for the past six years.

January 2013

Lamplight Equestrian Center has been sold.  Amanda Johnson Dressage is now based out of Silverwood Farm in Camp Lake, WI.  I will miss all of my Illinois client and horses, we had a great past few years!!  Amanda now has limited openings for horses in training.  Amanda specializes in training horses for FEI competition, young horse through Grand Prix.

Great American/USDF Region 4 Championships 2012

What a great Championships!  I could not ask for any better from my horses, they were Champion or Reserve Champion in every class! What a great weekend!

Toscano: Great American/USDF Grand Prix Champion 69.734%, Great American/USDF I-2 Champion 69.211%

Braxton: Great American/USDF I-1 Champion 69.671%, Great American/USDF I-2 Reserve Champion 65.066%, Midwest I-1 Champion 70.855%, Midwest I-2 Champion 65.395%

Foley: Great American/USDF First Level Champion 71.395%, Great American/USDF Second Level Reserve Champion 70.893%, Midwest First Level Champion 71.21%, Midwest Second Level Reserve Champion 70.714%

August 23-26 Dressage at Lamplight

This was such a fun weekend with the USEF National Young Horse and Developing Horse Championships going on at the same time!  Our Anakin was borrowed for the USEF Medal Seat Finals class for Genay Vauhn, and they won it!!  Congratulations!!  Toscano had a 69.474% in the I-2, Braxton a 69.079% in the I-1 and a 67.895% in the I-2, Veni a 67.368% in the PSG and a 72.71% at Fourth Level, and Foley received a 74% at Second Level and a 74.595% at First Level.

July 28-29 Silverwood Dressage

What a weekend!  All horses performed so well!  Toscano broke 70% both days in the Grand Prix!  Foley got a 77.7% at First Level and Dalakarlian an 80.357% at Training Level!  Couldn’t be happier with them!

NAJYRC July 17-22 2012

Nicole and Pip Qualified for the USDF Region 2 NAYRC team with the highest qualifying average!  They had a great first NAYRC together scoring a 64% in the team and a 62.395% in the individual! Enjoy these photos!

June 22-24 IDCTA Kickoff Dressage at Lamplight

This was a busy show! Toscano had his fist start at Grand Prix and was super with a 68.983%! Braxton had a 70.132 at I-2 and a 68.02% at I-1, Veni received a 72.635% at 4-3, Anakin a 69.857% at 4-1, Foley a 71.31% at 2-3 and 73.871% at 1-3, and Dalakarlian a 7.26 in the USEF 4 year old test.  Nicole and Pip received a 68.185% in the Young Rider Individual Test!  Tina and Tigger showed Second Level and Arlene and Dooley showed Training.
