Foley is a 2006 Hanoverian Gelding owned by Amanda Johnson and bred by Barbara Putnam. He is by Fabuleaux out of Romance by Puritano. He was started in the Fall of 2009 by friends at Bell Oaks Farm in Freeport, IL. In 2010 Amanda competed Foley in the USEF 4 Year Old Tests and at Training Level. They finished the year with a 7.4 and 3rd place finish in the USEF 4 Year Old Test at Dressage at Devon and a 7th place USDF Horse of the Year at Training Level with a 74.4% median. He was also IDCTA Training Level Champion with a 77.288%. In 2011 they finished 14th USDF Horse of the Year at First Level with a 71.935 median. Foley had success in 2011 Dressage at Devon, winning the Suitable to be a Dressage Horse for 5 & 6 Year Olds. He was also the winner of the All-American Hanoverian Young Dressage Horse Award for being the highest placed US born Hanoverian being sired by an AHS Elite Stallion in the FEI Young Horse class. Foley earned a 7.72 and 2nd place in the FEI 5 Year Old Test at Dressage at Devon.
